If you want something that will carry a phone plus a few essentials to attach to your saddle, this Saddle Pouch is just what you need. Many of our products are "born" out of other products and this pouch is no exception! We took just took our phone case and made it bigger. Attach it to the rear cinch of your saddle so it is handy. These are made to be tied to the rear cinch strap with latigo ties at the top and cinch tab at the bottom. However this pouch is very flexible in that you can change up how you use it and where you can attach it.

  • *Rear cinch - place tab low and stitch down the sides
  • *Belt - place tab up near the top and stitch on top/bottom
  • *Holster clip - add optional clip tab on the back (made to fit the Tandy holster clips)

These are super quick and easy to build and can be kept simple or jazzed up any way you like. Add fringe, add a custom tooled flap with a brand, or contact us about making a custom stamp or laser engraving the flap for award orders. Sample is shown with magnet clip but feel free to get creative with other closure options like snaps, buckles, or conchos and tie. Maybe even add d-rings to the side or back and do an adjustable strap to make this convertible from a small crossbody to waist pouch.

This PDF file comes with the two main pieces and each of the four variations of flaps, along with the Belt Clip Sleeve for use w/ the holster belt clips.

This pattern is suitable for advanced beginner.

Stay tuned for YouTube video showing how this is made.

Finished Dimensions: 5"w x 7"h and approx 1.25" deep on the inside.
